Senator Tarr moved to amend the amendment on page 19, section 4, line 2, after the word “section” by changing the period to a colon and inserting the following proviso: Provided, That any county that has demonstrated by written or electronic contract or correspondence dated on or before February 1, 2025 with an engineer or engineering firm for the purpose of data center development, a data center developer, site locator, data center owner or owning entity, or legal representative of such is exempt from all provisions of this section for the data center so demonstrated.
